Government Health Care

Home-schooling looks better every day

School nurses mistakenly gave the swine flu vaccine to two students who didn’t sign up for it – including a Brooklyn girl with epilepsy who wound up in the hospital.

“I was outraged,” Naomi Troy, 26, told the Daily News after her 6-year-old daughter, Nikiyah Torres-Pierre, had a possible allergic reaction to the shot.

Officials at Public School 335 in Crown Heights called an ambulance to take Nikiyah to SUNY Downstate Medical Center when she fell ill following the arm jab.

“My stomach was hurting, and I was itching,” Nikiyah said after she was released from the hospital.

The snafu and a similar mixup at a Staten Island school came in the first days of the city’s in-school H1N1 vaccination program.

Admittedly, I’ve been out of public school for a few years. But when I was there, it wasn’t a one-stop shop for government vaccination programs, global warming indoctrination, dear-leader praise songs, and religious oppression.

Parents need to oppose this stuff. Schools are not the place for flu shots. If you want the flu shot for your kid, take him down to the drug store your damned self. Don’t sign a fucking waiver, and then hope the Obama-voter who leads your kid’s classroom sends the right kid to the Obama-voter school nurse.

Quick Round-up

These are all Drudge headlines.

Arabs, China, Russia and France plan to dump dollar for oil trading

Obama renews health-care push

Obama’s pissed at his Afghanistan General for talking about Afghanistan

Mayor of New York declares that “We can’t just say everybody can go everyplace and do anything they want.” — without being monitored by surveillance cameras…

These ones all just made little hairs on my neck stand up. First of all, Every country that matters in the world is about to stop trading oil in US dollars. The dollar is about to tank again. Why would these countries make such a profound change? Because the US government and Federal Reserve have shaken the confidence of the ability of America to maintain its debt level without inflating the currency.

Why would they lack confidence in our ability to control spending? Well, how about spending trillions of dollars that we don’t have on universal health care? That’s link #2.

Why would they question the political leadership of the United States? How about because Barack Obama has shown that he has no international clout, and his Generals are apparently taking their concerns directly to the people instead of “advising” the president behind closed doors? Obama has an inability to make a decision on what to do in Afghanistan, and it’s costing him.

And finally, the mayor of the most important city in the world has decided that people shouldn’t just be allowed to go wherever they want and do whatever they do without being monitored by their government.

This is just TODAY. What does this stuff mean? It means freedom is being stripped from us. It means our personal property and reward for our labor is being devalued. It means that the country’s legacy of prosperity is being squandered, that our economy is being dismantled, that our influence in the world is in decline. And it’s all 100% the fault of the people who have “governed” us for the last 50 years and longer. Our economic stability has been sold to the Chinese and Japanese. Our freedom is being curtailed for our own “good.” And the top priority of the man who serves as president is to increase our indebtedness and decrease the control we have over our own lives.

Load up on guns, bitter clingers. The shit’s gonna hit the fan at some point.

Another Democrat won’t read the health care bill

Because it’s "arcane," "confusing," "hard stuff to understand," and "incomprehensible."

Sen. Thomas Carper (D.-Del.), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, told CNSNews.com that he does not “expect” to read the actual legislative language of the committee’s health care bill because it is “confusing” and that anyone who claims they are going to read it and understand it is fooling people.

“I don’t expect to actually read the legislative language because reading the legislative language is among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life,” Carper told CNSNews.com.

We’ll have to wait and see if he votes for it. But if legislative language is “incomprehensible” then we shouldn’t frigging use it. The only reason to use “arcane” and “confusing” language in an official manner is to hide, obfuscate, and lie about what’s actually going to happen.

No health insurance = jail

So last weekend, Barry said that the individual mandate that forces people to buy health insurance isn’t a tax.

But if you don’t buy insurance, you will pay a fine, and if you don’t pay the fine, you will go to jail for tax evasion.

For the love of God, Smoove. Just stop lying to us.
